Here's a scan after another 36 hours or so... about 60 hours total.
I don't know what happened to these coins or the scan, but the chage was minimal at best, and most likely was bad.

| MINERAL SPIRITS | ||||||||||||||||
| Here's a soak in mineral spirits in a cup sized container with a couple holes drilled in the lid; so vapors don't build up. I'm also storing it outside. I don't have high hopes for this, but I could use some mineral spirits anyways. Here's 5 coins to be thrown to the slaughter. These coins have soaked in distilled water for a few days, so the easy dirt has already been removed. | ||||||||||||||||

| Patina still seems to be safe after 24 hours, and some dirt as well as encrustation have been removed. Throwing them back in fresh spirits for another day or so. | ||||||||||||||||
