Coins have soaked another 24 hours (about 44 total). They now weight 11.9g, so I lost yet another 0.2g. I toothbrushed them, and hit them with a quick silver brush. The Fel Temp reverse is nearly clean.  The obverse is very slowing clearing up. The Ant is still coming along, but it looks like much that was underneath the bright orange and blue encrustation is that rusty stuff... which seems to be the metal itself "exploding". Still minimal loss of dirt on the two dirty coins. Going to let them soak a couple days before I look at them again.
Coins have soaked another 5 days. Weight is now 11.8g. I took a silver brush to them to remove anything that was loose.  About half of the head of the Fel Temp is now cleaned. Little loss of dirt still. Probably half of the orange encrustation has come off of the Ant. It is revealing bare metal, but I feel that is due to the encrustation, not the chemical. All other patinas that are exposed are still intact. Back into the container with them.
After another 5 days or so, coins now somehow weigh 11.9g. More has been removed from the Fel Temp obverse as well as the ant. Dirt still seems to be about the same. Going to keep soaking the two larger coins, and going to try a couple others as well. Looks like it works great on some encrustations, but takes considerable amount of time on others... but it seems safe. Might be an alternative to zapping, and retains patina, even though it takes considerably longer.
